An internationally acclaimed stage director, Dmitry Astrakhan, has taken a fresh look at the classic play. Ageless classics staged by one of the oldest theaters in the country. The play is about the decline of morals, about principles fading before love and poverty, and about stark changes possible around every corner. In the end, one of the characters gets lucky. He got lucky just before falling and betraying himself, and was saved by a sudden turn of events. Could this mean he is not entirely lost? Can we really change anything?
